Day 25 | 2024 | Merry Christmas
The season of advent concluded yesterday, and this devotional on Christmas Day will be the last in this series for this year.
Merry Christmas! The King has come, and the world will never be the same. Today, the heavens sing and the earth rejoices. Today, the bread tastes sweeter, the wine richer, and the laughter louder. Why? Because the Savior has arrived, the curse is broken, and life—true, eternal, indestructible life—has burst into our world.
Christmas is a victory feast, a call to celebrate the God who walked into His creation and turned everything upside down. So go, eat your bread with joy. Drink your wine with a merry heart. Throw open your doors, fill your tables, and let your homes echo with the sound of rejoicing. This is not a day for small hearts. This is the Feast of Feasts, for the King has triumphed, and His kingdom will never end.
To everyone who joined the Advent journey this year—thank you. These reflections are richer because we’ve shared them together. If you haven’t subscribed to the blog yet, now’s the time. It’s the best way for us to stay connected, share more joy, and keep celebrating the gospel together.
So today, raise a glass, sing with abandon, and feast like the forgiven. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
